acho que nc prestei tanta atenção a Cannes como vou prestar este ano. mto fixe o filme de Tarantino estar nomeado. e além desse ainda há outros que me geram grande ansiedade.

acho que foi ele que rejeitou..
eu li qualquer coisa sobre ele ter sido convidado para apresentar o filme dele, mas sem concorrer a nenhum prémio e ele o ter rejeitado por questões pessoais..

neste momento já foram exibidos 12 dos 20 filmes em competição, e até agora A Prophet - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12SjQ5u7XtE é o que está a ser melhor recebido e mais falado. Poderá já tar em vantagem para vencer o prémio principal.

'Das Weisse Band', do realizador austríaco Michael Haneke, foi contemplado com a Palma de Ouro do Festival de Cannes. Trata-se de um filme a preto e branco sobre a vida de uma pequena comunidade alemã nas vésperas da I Guerra Mundial.
Michael Haneke recebeu o prémio das mãos da presidente do júri da competição oficial, a actriz francesa Isabelle Huppert, que já trabalhou consigo no filme 'A Pianista'.
O prémio de Melhor Actor foi entregue a outro austríaco, Cristoph Waltz, que interpreta um nazi caçador de judeus no filme 'Inglorious Basterds', de Quentin Tarantino.
Por seu lado, o júri atribuiu o prémio de Melhor Actriz à francesa Charlotte Gainsbourg, que formou um casal marcado pela perda do filho com Willem Dafoe no polémico 'Antichrist', cujas cenas de sexo e automutilação chocaram parte do público.
O filipino Brillante Mendoza, autor de 'Kinatay', recebeu o galardão de Melhor Realizador das mãos do norte-americano Terry Gilliam.
Contemplado com um prémio especial do festival foi o veterano cineasta francês Alain Resnais, que confessou a sua 'surpresa, emoção e gratidão' ao receber uma distinção 'imprevista'.
